Casting the table tops in a mold made from 5-gallon buckets glued to MDF. The legs need to be evenly spaced, so I built this foam-core jig to hold them while the concrete set.

The MDF is held to the bucket strong enough to create a seal, but easy enough to peel away to finish curing.

Newly cast tables, with unfinished poplar legs.

Weather-sealed legs prevent premature rot in the humid months.

A perfect spot to place a drink in the backyard!
